4. (102) Chris Robison, DE
Chris Robison came to Texas as a linebacker but then he added some bulk and played DE for them. His pass rushing moves are pretty raw and will need some refining and he’s not much of a run defender. Still, Robison has the size (6′2″, 275) and speed (4.8 40) to develop into a good DE at the pro level but it will likely take a little bit of time. Where Robison will immediately help the Vikings is on special teams as he blocked 6 kicks at Texas over his career. In 49 games (36 starts) at Texas, Robison made 181 tackles, 41 tackles for a loss, had 14 sacks, batted down 9 passes, forced 4 fumbles and recovered 2 fumbles. Robison was a good pick by the Vikings.
