LB Napoleon Harris (wrist) and WR Marcus Robinson (back) will both miss Sunday’s game. Dontarrious Thomas will take over for Harris at LB and Bethel Johnson will take Robinson’s spot on the offense.

The Vikings are coming off a very disappointing loss to the New England Patriots on Monday night, but they might have the perfect remedy to help them rebound…..a Sunday date with the 49ers! The 49ers are reeling, having lost their last two games by a combined 89-29 score!
The Vikings will probably run the ball behind the left side of their offensive line until the Niners prove they can stop it. Chester Taylor (612 yards rushing) should have a great game against a Niner defense that allows 123.3 yards rushing and 4.3 yards per carry. Look for Brad Johnson to attack the Niner secondary with his short passing attack. The Niners have allowed 244.4 net yards passing per game, 15 TD passes, and a QB rating of 103.6 against them. Look for the Vikings to score alot of points this week.
The Niners prefer to run the ball and try to keep their defense off of the field. Frank Gore already has rushed for 631 yards this season, but, the Vikings run defense has been tough this season only allowing 72.9 yards rushing and 3.3 yards per carry this season. Maybe the Niners should just air it out and try to out-score the Vikings. The Vikings looked very bad trying to stop Tom Brady from throwing on Monday night. I know, Alex Smith is no Tom Brady, but the Niners receivers are as good as the Patriots and if Smith has time to throw, he could have some success.
The Vikings have a much better football team than the Niners, and should beat them by more than 10 points. Games aren’t played on paper, however, and the Vikings could have a hangover from the beat-down they suffered on Monday Night!
Starting linebacker Napoleon Harris dislocated his wrist against the Patriots on Monday night. If he has to miss time, Ben Leber or Dontarrious Thomas would replace him.
