The Vikings played a good football game, but not good enough to beat the Bears.  Brad Johnson did his usual good job, completing 21 of 31 passes for 194 yards.  Chester Taylor carried the ball 20 times for 74 yards.  Travis Taylor had a good game, catching  passes for 82 yards.  Troy Williamson caught 4 passes for 39 yards.

The defense stuffed the Bears running game, holding them to 51 yards and 2.4 yards per carry.  The Bears completed 56.1% of their passes for 274 net yards.  Antoine Winfield came to play making 10 tackles and intercepting a pass.

The Vikings have nothing to hang their head about.
